If ever a story was made for Unit 4 this is it. You have Presidential Power, conflicting (or not) Presidential styles, broken Presidential promises on legislation and signing statements, abuse of the constitution and violations of civil liberties all rolled nicely into an NDAA shaped packaged…

This has been doing the rounds of the left wing American blogs, the Guardian has a good summary


The Atlantic carries the story and makes the interest assessment of the use of signing statements as ‘passive aggressive’ behaviour by a President.
